Bredene, Oostende

This place felt so unreal! Next to the small and pretty city Oostende lies Bredene and with it the most amazing beaches surrounded by beautiful dunes.

We went for two nights in a tent here at a camping ground and had the most amazing time with a 2 minute walk to the beach and insanely beautiful sunsets.

Make sure to visit this place when you’re in Belgium! You can also come here by train: It’s a 45min train ride from Bruges.

Bruges

Bruges is the place to be in Belgium! Come here if you want to see the beautiful architecture and colorful houses alongside the canals.

If you’re craving for some good belgian chocolate, you can find many stores here with amazing pralines and everything a sweet heart can wish for.

For traditional belgian fries we recommend you Fritbar. You can get the classic fries here but also different kinds of toppings – definitely try the truffle mayonaise! And for waffles you can go to waffle wagon, it’s located in a more quiet spot with a view over the canal.

Ghent

Ghent will make you feel like you’re in a Harry Potter movie!

This is by far the most beautiful city in Belgium with stunning architecture, churches and even a castle. Just strolling around the city makes your day in Ghent so special!

General tip: Most city in Belgium are car free. So if you want to come by car you have to register days (better a week) in advance.
